Local Government and Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan has said that the main goal of 'Tarunner Utsab' - a festival of youth planned to be held early next year is to rebuild the country and move forward with state reforms while maintaining national unity.
The adviser made the remarks during the logo unveiling ceremony and mascot reveal for the Bangladesh Premier League T20 2025 at Hotel InterContinental in Dhaka on Sunday.
At that time, the adviser also extended his special thanks to the Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus, for his efforts in making the event a success.

“To transform grief into strength, the ‘Tarunner Utsab 2025’ is being organised under the slogan, “Let’s change the country, let’s change the world,” which will take place from December 30, 2024, to February 8, 2025.”
He added, "We always want to remember the martyrs of the July Revolution in moments of happiness, sorrow, joy, and pain. Our goal is to fulfill their dreams of sacrifice."
He further stated that sports, especially cricket, have the unique power to unite us, transcending differences in all other areas of life.
The 'Dana 36' mascot has been created as a symbol of the recent student-public movement and political change. Designed in the shape of a dove with 36 colorful feathers, it represents Bangladesh's spirit of independence and the collective strength of its sports community.

The event was attended by Md. Rezaul Maksud Zahedi, Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Lamiya Morshed, Chief Coordinator for SDG Affairs, Faruk Ahmed, President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), and the current captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team, Nazmul Hossain Shanto. Also present were former captains Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim, along with members of the women's cricket team and officials and players from various football and other sports federations.
