The state minister came up with the remarks while inaugurating a training programme- Frontier Technology organised by Bangladesh Computer Council through video conference, said a press release.
“Fourth industrial revolution is a challenge while at the same time it offers huge opportunities and the Frontier Technology has launched aiming to utilize that possibilities,” he said.

The government is set to establish an institute of frontier technology to fulfill the need of tech-skilled people, he added.
A total of 1,110 people are getting training in Frontier Technology in the fast track future leader programme under the Leveraging ICT for employment and growth of the IT-ITS Industry (LICT) project.
In the first phase, 690 people were taking the training on 22 subjects provided by 22 IT institutes.
The subjects include artificial intelligence, machine learning, block chain, Data science, augmented reality, virtual reality, internet of things.
