Police arrested three people, including a minor, in connection with the murder of two siblings in Kishoreganj's Hossainpur upazila in a clash over land dispute on Thursday (July 13).
Of the arrestees, two were identified as Md Imran Hossain and Arman. However, the identity of the child was not disclosed by police.

Police conducted drives and arrested them from Lalmonirhat's Kaliganj and Kishoreganj's Karimganj upazilas on Saturday and Sunday. Kishoreganj Police super Md Russell Sheikh disclosed this in a press briefing on Sunday.
"Efforts are on to arrest the other accused in the case," added the SP.
Earlier, a man and his sister were allegedly hacked to death by villagers in Hossainpur Upazila of the district on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Mahmudul Islam Alamgir, 30, son of Shamsul Haque, a resident of East Kurimara Village of the upazila, and his sister Nadira Akter, 22.
Later, a case was filed accusing seven people at Hossainpur police station following a complaint lodged by the deceased's father Md Shamsul Islam.
