Police on Tuesday recovered bodies of a couple and their two-month-old daughter from Sonalipolli of Kashimpur in Gazipur city.
The deceased were identified as Mosharraf Hossain, his wife Hosna Akhter, and their daughter Mohini Akhter, hailing from Gobindapur village under Pirganj upazila in Rangpur.
Ahsanul Haque, assistant commissioner Gazipur Metropolitan Police's Koknabari zone said they recovered the bodies from their home in the morning after being informed by locals.
The bodies were sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Quoting locals, police sources said Mosharraf was a drug addict and they suspect that he poisoned his wife and daughter before killing himself.
