Despite the coronavirus fallout, the sub-registry offices across the country collected revenue of Tk 689.66 crore in July.
The amount is Tk 160 crore higher than that of the previous month, said a press release issued by the Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry.
Dhaka topped in the list of the districts with highest revenue collection. An amount of Tk 175.95 crore revenue was collected in the district in July.
It was followed by Chattogram, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Cumilla and Mymensingh districts respectively.
Besides, the sub-registry offices have registered around 2.71 lakh documents from July 1 to July 30, which was 23,877 in the previous month.
