Kishoreganj, Oct 12 (UNB) – Train communications on the Kishoreganj-Mymensingh route resumed on Saturday afternoon after a disruption of seven and a half hours.
Abdur Rahman Biswas, in-charge of Kishoreganj Railway Police Station, said communication resumed around 1pm.
Two bogies of a Jamalpur-bound freight train from Chattogram derailed near Nilganj Mohinanda Bhadrapara area in sadar upazila around 5:30am.
Later, a relief train from Mymensingh went to the site and helped restore the communication.
