Two more special assistants to the Prime Minister have been appointed, the Cabinet Division said on Thursday.
Tanvir Gani has been appointed as Special Assistant on Investment and Capital Markets, and Bijon Kanti Sarker as Special Assistant on Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and Ethnic Affairs.
A notification in this regard was issued by the Cabinet Division on Thursday.
The notification said the Prime Minister appointed and assigned responsibilities to the two officials in accordance with the ‘Rules of Business, 1996’.
Tanvir Gani and Bijon Kanti Sarker will receive the rank, salary, allowances and other ancillary facilities of a Minister of State while holding the post of Special Assistant, read the notification.
