A high-level delegation led by US Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Uzra Zeya visited Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar today.
The delegation also includes US Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu and Deputy Assistant Administrator of the Bureau for Asia, USAID, Änjali Kaur.

The delegation arrived at Cox's Bazar Airport via a US-Bangla flight around 9 am today. They were welcomed by officials from UNHCR, IMO and RRRC offices, district administration, and law enforcement agencies.
Later, the delegation left for the Rohingya camps and reached camp 9 in Balukhali of Ukhia around 10:30 am.

They visited the service and cooperation centres run by various UN agencies and talked to the Rohingyas living in the camp.
A meeting is scheduled at the Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner's office in the afternoon after the US delegation’s visit to the specialized hospital in Ukhia.
