The Ministry of Religious Affairs has instructed Hajj agencies to enter into agreements with companies that have been approved by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to provide services to pilgrims during the 2025 Hajj.
The Hajj-1 branch of the Ministry issued a letter in this regard on Monday.
According to the letter, 35 service companies have been officially authorized by Saudi authorities to assist pilgrims in the holy sites of Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah.
These companies will be responsible for providing accommodation, food, and other essential services, including welcoming and sending off pilgrims at hotels in Mecca and Medina and ensuring the safekeeping of their passports.
The Hajj agencies have been advised to select service providers from the approved list and can enter into agreements with any company of their choice.
The list of approved companies is available on the Saudi e-Hajj platform, Nusuk Masar.
The Ministry has emphasized that, when finalizing these agreements, Hajj agencies should consider the reputation and service quality of the companies, their ability to provide suitable food for Bangladeshi pilgrims, and their commitment to ensuring pilgrims' safe and comfortable stays in Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah.
The Ministry also urged agencies to carefully review and adhere to the conditions outlined in the agreements before finalizing any contracts with service providers.
