The Indian High Commission in Dhaka said New Delhi will continue to do its best to support the vaccine rollout in neighbouring countries, noting that there is a huge demand for it against inadequate supply.
"In short, we can only share what’s actually available. And the fact is that there’s a huge amount of demand and not enough supply," said the High Commission.
The High Commission came up with the assurance in response to some media's reports "misquoting" High Commissioner Vikram Kumar Doraiswami when he met a few media personnel at Akhaura border on Thursday.

The High Commission said it is important to keep in mind that there is a huge wave of the pandemic underway in India.
