The home minister said this while talking to reporters after a meeting with UN Resident Representative in Dhaka Gwyn Lewis Lewis at his secretariat office on Tuesday.

She (Gwyn Lewis) wanted to know about the reason for the assault on Hero Alom. “We said, 'We can't tell why it happened yet.' All measures were taken by the government to ensure that there is a peaceful atmosphere,’ said the minister.
“From what we have seen, at the end of the election, some people got into an argument with Hero Alom and it was seen that some youths attacked him.
