The deceased was identified as Rekha Mollik, 45, wife of Chitta Mollick, of Jashore's Keshabpur upazila.
Dr Shoilendranath Biswas, resident doctor of KMCH, said Rekha was admitted to the hospital’s Dengue Ward on Saturday and died at 10:45pm on Sunday.
Besides dengue, Rekha was suffering from heart and kidney diseases, he said.
Sixteen patients have so far died of dengue in Khulna since January.
According to Khulna Divisional Health Directorate, 9,115 people were infected with the disease in 10 districts of the division, while 108 new patients were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till Monday morning.
Meanwhile, 314 people were hospitalised with dengue across the country in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning, according to official data.
Since January 89,930 people were hospitalised with dengue, most of them in Dhaka. Of them, 88, 356 made full recovery.
Currently, 1,338 patients, including 470 in Dhaka, are being treated at hospitals for dengue.
The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research received reports of 236 dengue-related deaths since the beginning of this year. It has reviewed 136 cases so far and confirmed 81 people had died of dengue.
