Bangladesh UK Alumni Network (BUKAN) with the support of British Council (BC), presented the inimitable workshop, said a press release of British Council issued on Monday.
In an effort to uplift the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Bangladesh, communication firm Ra'diaInc had initiated the half-day workshop
The workshop was arranged with an aim to inspire and inform youths about the entrepreneurship trends of Bangladesh and was brought together 150 aspiring entrepreneurs to an experience-sharing platform who acquired knowledge and interact with the domain experts and successful entrepreneurs.
The workshop gave an emphasis on how social-driven entrepreneurial idea can be instrumental towards achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) alongside female participation followed by Networking session.
Parliamentary Standing Committee chairman on Expatriates' Welfare& Overseas Employment Ministry, Barrister Shameem HaiderPatwary attended the closing ceremony of the event as Chief Guest while Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan, Managing Director & CEO, IIDFC Ltd. and ChowdhuryManzoorLiaquat, Managing Director & CEO (CC), Union Capital Ltd were present as the special guests.
David Maynard, Director Education, British Council gave Vote of Thanks with a short message on the British Council’s activities in Bangladesh. The participants were given a summary of BUKAN’s journey and way forward by TowhidurRahman, Head of Higher Education and Regional Manager, South Asia – CSFP, British Council.
