The Ziaur Rahman Foundation (ZRF) is set to organise its third annual science fair titled “In Search of Future Scientists-2026” to showcase the innovative talents of Bangladeshi youth at the national and international levels.
Teachers, students, innovators, researchers, engineers and technology enthusiasts aged 18 or above from any public or private university, medical college or technology institute in Bangladesh can participate in the competition, said a press release issued on Sunday.
Interested students and teachers have been asked to register by September 30.
Participants can submit original innovative projects in areas including artificial intelligence, robotics, agricultural technology, health technology, renewable energy and smart solutions.
Previously presented projects will not be accepted, while participants must present their models in person.
Selected innovators will get an opportunity to present their projects before ZRF President and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Vice-President Dr Zubaida Rahman.
The top five winners will receive special financial support to develop startups as new entrepreneurs.
The winners will also be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals.
