BASIS hosted the “Welcome to BASIS: New Member Orientation Program” at the BASIS Auditorium on Saturday.
The event saw participation from 70 leading IT companies, aiming to connect new members with the broader BASIS network and strengthen the shared vision for the IT industry’s growth.
In his welcome address, Md Mostafizur Rahaman Sohel, senior VP of BASIS, encouraged new members to actively engage with the community and highlighted the transformative role they play in Bangladesh’s digital evolution. He emphasised BASIS’s commitment to creating an environment where innovation thrives.
M Rashidul Hasan, BASIS president, outlined the goals of the onboarding event, reaffirming BASIS’s dedication to prioritising the needs of its members and driving the development of the IT sector. He reiterated BASIS’s mission to safeguard the collective interests of the tech community.
Presentations by M Asif Rahman, BASIS VP (Finance), and Biplob Ghosh Rahul, BASIS director, provided insights into BASIS’s journey, purpose, and services. They showcased the organisation’s commitment to supporting its members through resources, services, and initiatives designed to foster sector growth.
Mir Shahrukh Islam, BASIS director, noted that the event allowed members to connect with emerging tech leaders and set future-oriented goals. The program also featured an interactive Q&A session with M. Rashidul Hasan, fostering idea-sharing and strengthening bonds within the community.
