Dhaka, June 1 (UNB) – The Chattogram region of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) organised a discussion on ‘Siam, Taqwah, Sadaqah and Waqf’ coupled with an iftar mahfil at Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View in Chattogram on Friday.
IBBL Chairman Prof Md Nazmul Hassan was present at the programme as the chief guest while its Executive Committee Chairman Prof Dr Md Salim Uddin was a special guest with Managing Director & CEO Md Mahbub ul Alam in the chair.
Prof Md Mozahidul Islam Chowdhury, member of the IBBL Shariah Supervisory Committee, spoke at the event as the chief discussant.
Senior officials of the bank, industrialists, businesspersons, bankers, journalists, intellectuals, educationists and ulema attended the programme, said a press release on Saturday.
