The largest showcase of the Real Estate Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) began on December 24 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.
Real estate companies, land developers, bank and financial institutions and building material companies displayed their products, including flats, plots, housing loans and construction materials through a total of 230 stalls of160 organisations at the venue.
REHAB’s first vice president Liakot Ali Bhuiyan said many visitors booked flats and plots for purchasing.
“The flats will be sold to the visitors in the next six months after ending the fair,” he added.
Its vice president Kamal Mahmud said the fair is organised aiming to be a meeting place for buyers and sellers.
“We got a huge response from visitors in this winter fair,” he added.

Earlier, Housing and Public Works Minister SM Rezaul Karim inaugurated the fair as chief guest. REHAB has been organizing such fairs since 2001.
