Walton CEO, CMO score Bangladesh C-Suite Awards

Golam Murshed, managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of Walton Hi-Tech Industries, has been honoured with the "Emerging CEO Of The Year" award for his contribution to the country's corporate sector.

Bangladesh Brand Forum initiated the first Bangladesh C-Suite Awards to recognise and celebrate the achievements of business executives.

Mohammad Firoj Alam, chief marketing officer (CMO) of Walton Hi-Tech, also received the "CMO Of The Year" award at the same event.

Murshed and Firoj received the awards Saturday.

The Bangladesh C-Suite Awards were given in 16 categories to 16 top executives of Bangladesh.

After completing his graduation in mechanical engineering from the Islamic University of Technology, Murshed joined Walton as an assistant engineer in 2010. He has served Walton in various important positions since then.

Murshed undertook the "Vision Go Global 2030" for Walton.

Firoj joined Walton as a senior executive in 2007. He is overseeing Walton's marketing, branding, public relations and communications and cricket branding.
