Exactly a year after his death, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's actress-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has penned an emotional note in his memory.
"There isn't a moment where I believe that you aren't here anymore. They said that time heals everything but you were my time and my everything. I know that you are my guardian angel now -- watching me with your telescope from the moon and protecting me. I wait for you every day to come pick me up, I look for you everywhere -- I know you're here with me," Rhea wrote on Monday.

Referring to the late actor as her "best friend and love," Rhea wrote: "There is no life without you. You took the meaning of it with you. This void cannot be filled. Without you , I'm standing still... A barrage of emotions cross my body every time I think of you not being here. My heart aches to write this, my heart aches to feel anymore."
In March this year, Rhea was formally charges by India's narcotics control authority, along with 32 others, including some Bollywood celebrities, in a drugs case linked to the death of Sushant Singh in June last year.
The Narcotics Control Bureau started probing the drugs scandal following the death of Sushant last year. Among the first to be arrested in the case were Rhea and her brother Showik. Both are currently out on bail.
Rhea was, in fact, arrested by NCB on September 9 last year, following days of questioning, and accused of procuring cannabis for her late actor-boyfriend, whose body was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his Mumbai flat on June 14.
Immediately after the arrest of Rhea, the names of at least 20 top Bollywood celebrities — from actors to filmmakers to designers — surfaced in the drugs case. Several of them, including leading female Bollywood actors — Rakul Preet Singh, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor — were subsequently grilled by NCB.
The grilling had come in the wake of WhatsApp chats retrieved from Rhea's mobile phone indicating that they procured banned substances like cannabis, weed and hash from dealers with links to foreign countries.

All the actors, however, reportedly denied any links with such drug dealers.
