The Old Guard 2 | Superhero Action | July 2, 2025
Victoria Mahoney directs this action-packed sequel. The screenplay comes from Greg Rucka, adapted from his comic with Leandro Fernandez.
This is the second instalment in The Old Guard saga, while the first film debuted in 2020.
Charlize Theron returns as the main protagonist, Andy. Alongside her are Marwan Kenzari, KiKi Layne, Luca Marinelli, Van Veronica Ngo, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. New to the cast are Uma Thurman and Henry Golding.

The beloved DC series returns for its final season, three years after its premiere in 2022, split into two volumes.
Based on Neil Gaiman’s 1989-1996 comic series, the show was developed by Gaiman, David S. Goyer, and Allan Heinberg. Heinberg continues as showrunner and takes on a role this season.

Produced by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television, it follows Dream, also known as Morpheus, the ruler of dreams.
Volume 1 adapts Season of Mists, where Lucifer abandons Hell and hands its Key to Morpheus. The burden of choosing Hell’s new ruler falls on him. Volume 2 will cover The Kindly Ones and The Wake. These final arcs trace Dream’s reckoning. Past choices catch up. Dream must protect himself, his realm, and the waking world.
The narrative resumes from Season 1’s end. The Dream Vortex is gone, and the Corinthian was defeated. Lucifer and Mazikeen now seek revenge. Calliope, Dream’s former muse, has reappeared.
Tom Sturridge reprises his role as Dream. Vivienne Acheampong, Boyd Holbrook, and Patton Oswalt return as well.
