Overseas markets contributed Rs 42.5 crore, helping the film surpass the openings of Jr NTR’s Devara and Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo, both of which had launched with around Rs 142 crore worldwide.
The film features Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera, a ruthless gangster out to reclaim his empire and settle scores with rival Omi Bhau, played by Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi in his Telugu debut. The cast also includes Priyanka Mohan, Prakash Raj, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy and Shaam, with Jackie Shroff making a cameo appearance.
