Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast rain or thundershowers in seven divisions, including Dhaka, in 24 hours commencing 9am on Sunday.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places,” he said.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Day and night temperatures may fall slightly over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.
A trough of low lies over North Bay and adjoining area.
