Celebrating the harmonious blending of fashion statements, diverse artistic expressions, and eco-conscious practices while envisioning the future of fashion through dynamic creativity and environmental responsibility - the third edition of Arka Fashion Week concluded on Sunday at the capital’s Aloki.
The event, presented by Arka Collective and Arka Studio, drew a massive crowd across its four-day festivities, engaging the urban fashionistas.
This year’s fashion week was themed across four days, each day highlighting a unique focus. The opening day’s theme was ‘Denim’ which highlighted the fabric’s timeless versatility, innovative potential, and unifying appeal; day two was themed ‘Modern Contemporary’ which showcased an exciting mix of avant-garde creativity and modern styles; the third day was themed as ‘Fusion Day’ focusing on mixing and matching styles while experimenting and celebrating individuality, encouraging people to embrace their uniqueness - and the concluding day was themed as ‘Sustainability; envisioning the future of fashion through dynamic creativity and environmental responsibility.
Alongside its usual offerings such as the Marketplace, Design Lab, concerts including poplar bands such as Joler Gaan and Indalo, food zone and exclusive runway shows - this year’s new edition, the series of Masterclasses on various topics captivated a large number of enthusiastic attendees.
Popular fashion labels including AMIRA, DHEU by SaRa, Kathal, Grissho by Showhardo and Bliss, GLEE and designers including Rahemur Rahman, Amesh and others enthralled the fashion enthusiasts with the Runway shows across four days at the event.
A ceremony was held on Saturday, the third day of the 2025 edition of Arka FW, joined by Arka Fashion Week’s founder Asad Sattar, alongside co-organizers Tahsin N Choudhury, SK Saifur Rahman and Azra Mahmood. The organizers expressed their gratitude to the sponsors of the fashion week including Aarong, Prime Bank, Amirá Apparel; Dheu by SaRa, Arabika and others.
