A two-member delegation of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), led by its Standing Committee member Ismail Zabihullah, will attend the 13th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) in Seoul, South Korea.
The conference is scheduled to be held from November 4 to 7 under the theme “Rebuilding Trust in a Transforming World”.
BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman nominated the delegation, which includes BNP Joint Secretary General Syed Emran Saleh Prince.
A total of 96 political parties from 37 Asian countries are expected to participate in the assembly.
The BNP is a permanent member of the ICAPP Standing Committee, an alliance of political parties from across Asia.
South Korea's Minjoo (Democratic) Party and People Power Party are jointly organising the 13th ICAPP General Assembly.
