Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Wednesday organised a tree plantation drive in the capital, marking its 48th founding anniversary.
The campaign began at 11:00am on the 300-feet Road at Kuril, followed by another tree plantation programme at 12:30pm at Dholaikhal Pond, adjacent to Sadek Hossain Khoka Ground.
BNP acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi attended the programmes as the chief guest, organised under the overall management of BNP Joint Secretary General and Water Resources Minister Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anee.
