BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury on Tuesday said that the government's only hope of survival is through stealing the upcoming election, as it has no one on its side, whether at home or abroad.
“So keep your eyes and ears open. List the names of those involved in the vote-stealing project,” he said.

Khasru said this while addressing a public rally at Rajbari Road intersection (Bangabandhu Square) in Faridpur city on Tuesday noon on the occasion of BNP's divisional road march.
Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury said, "Wherever I go, everyone wants to know how long this government will be in power? Everyone is looking forward to when this government will go?”
“All the countries of the world, all the democratic organizations have also taken decisions. No one is with this government. At home or abroad. Therefore, the project of vote-stealing is Sheikh Hasina's only hope,” he said.
Mentioning that the government has already started trembling thanks to US visa sanction, Khasru said, “The next visa sanction will be given by Bangladeshi people and it will be more difficult. There will be no excuse.”

"The European Union has visited our country. They said that there is no atmosphere for a fair election here, so they will not send observers to the election,” the BNP leader added.
The road march started from Rajbari's Goalanda around 11am, as part of the one-point demand of the BNPand its like-minded parties. The one overriding point is the resignation of the government. That would set in motion the other desired steps of the opposition, such as dissolution of parliament and eventually, election under a non-party neutral government.
BNP are also of course demanding the release of their Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
BNP Vice Chairman Abdul Awal Mintoo, BNP Chairperson's Adviser Shahzada Miah and former MP Shah Md Abu Jafar, among others, spoke at the rally.
