BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Thursday urged the government to remove uncertainties surrounding the national election and hold it without delay.
"We want a quick election, we want to see a stable Bangladesh,” he said speaking at a public rally in Laksam and Monohorgonj upazilas of Cumilla.

The BNP leader called for essential reforms and a clear electoral roadmap to guarantee a fair election process.
Criticising the Awami League, he said, "Over the past 15 years, the Awami League has undermined the integrity of the electoral system."
BNP organised the rally as part of its initiative to implement the party’s 31-point state reform agenda, was held at Laksam Stadium. BNP Central Industrial Affairs Secretary Abul Kalam presided over the event.
