BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman on Wednesday inaugurated a Free Animal Clinic in the capital’s Banani area to ensure free medical services for animals.
The clinic has been set up by Bangladesh Animal Welfare Association (BAWA).
The organisers said the ‘Free Animal Clinic’ will provide free treatment, primary healthcare and necessary medical advice for animals.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Tarique expressed the hope that the initiative will play an important role in protecting animal health and promoting animal welfare in the country.
The organisers said the clinic aims to make basic veterinary services accessible to animal owners who cannot afford treatment costs.
