Bangladesh Navy maintained their absolute supremacy after the second day of the Max Group 32nd National Swimming, Diving, and Water Polo Competitions 2023 at the Syed Nazrul Islam National Swimming Complex in Mirpur on Tuesday.
The sailors dominated the pool, securing 21 gold, 13 silver, and seven bronze medals in the first two days. They also featured two new national records, one for each day.

Bangladesh Army are in the distant second with one gold, eight silver and 11 bronzes while BKSP are in the 3thirdslot with four bronzes.
Samiul Islam Rafi of Bangladesh Navy, who made the meet's first record in the men's 50-metre backstroke on Monday, today (Tuesday) set another national record in the men's 200-metre backstroke.

He covered the 200-metre distance with a timing of 02:11.46 to better the event's old record of 02:15.20 made by Jewel Ahmed in 2022.
Kajol Miah and Sonia Akter Tumpa of the Bangladesh Navy topped the list by clinching three individual gold medals each.
