In the day's second round, IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Bangladesh beat IM Markov Mikhail of Kyrgyzstan, while GM Ziaur Rahman of Bangladesh drew with FM Sezdbekov Ruslan of Kyrgyzstan.
In the day's other two matches, GM Enamul Hossain Razib and GM Niaz Murshed lost to EM Orozbaev Eldiar and FM Zhakshylykov Erzhan of Kyrgyzstan, respectively.
