Bangladeshi International Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman finished 18th, and Grand Master Enamul Hossain Razib was placed 20th among the 34 players in the individual event of the 19th Asian Games Chess, securing 4.5 points each after the ninth and last round matches held in the Chinese city of Hangzhou on Wednesday.
Bangladeshi WFM Noshin Anjum finished 20th among the 30 players in the women's individual events, securing 4 points.
The eighth and ninth round matches were held on Wednesday.
Asian Games Chess: Razib, Fahad earn 4 points each after 7th round
In the day's eighth round, GM Enamul Hossain Razib drew with his compatriot IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman in the men's individual, while WFM Noshin Anjum won against WCM Al-Khelaifi Aisha of Qatar in the women's individual.
In the ninth round, GM Enamul Hossain Razib lost to GM Erigaisi Arjun of India, IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman lost to GM Rinat Jumabayev of Kazakhstan in the men's individual, and WFM Noshin Anjum won against Alawadhi Amenah of Kuwait in the women's individual.

In the men's individual, GM Wei Yi of China clinched the gold medal, securing 7.5 points; GM Abdusattorov Nadirbek of Uzbekistan won the silver medal with 7 points; and GM Sindarov Javokhir of Uzbekistan bagged the bronze medal with 6.5 points.

In the women's individual, GM Zhu Jiner of China lifted the gold medal with 7 points, WIM Omonova Umida of Uzbekistan won the silver medal, and GM House Yifan won the bronze medal, collecting 6.5 points.
