The series is scheduled to start from February 3 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
Hasan was also part of Bangladesh Test squad during Zimbabwe’s Bangladesh tour in early 2020. He got his ODI cap against the same opponent in the last series where he bagged three wickets.

BCB announced a 20-member preliminary squad on January 4. It overlooked Nurul Hasan Sohan and Khaled Ahmed from this squad to cut it down to 18 members.
Shakib Al Hasan is also included in this series. It will be his first Test series after serving a one-year ban imposed by the ICC for failing to report corrupt approaches made to him.
Bangladesh won the ODI series against touring West Indies 3-0 to secure 30 points and moved to the second place in the ICC World Cup Super League points table. The top eight teams of this event, including hosts India, will get a direct entry to the World Cup 2023.
