The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Monday revealed the team kit Bangladesh team will wear during the T20 World Cup 2021 which is set to begin on October 17 in Oman.
The new kit resembles the jersey that the Tigers wore during the early 2000s. The manufacturer acknowledged there was an effort to create something to close a retro kit.
Part of the fabric used in the jersey is made of recycled plastic waste, said the manufacturer. The jersey also has the cutting-edge air circulation system that will provide some relief from the excess humidity expected in the UAE and Oman.
