The competition will be held in Australia from February 21 to March 8.
Salma Khatun will lead the Bangladesh team in the T20 World Cup while Rumana Ahmed was made her deputy.
Bangladesh, which was placed in the Group A of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup along with India, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka, will play India on February 24, hosts Australia on February 27, New Zealand on February 29 and Sri Lanka on March 2.
Bangladesh squad: Salma Khatun (captain), Rumana Ahmed (vice-captain), Jahanara Alam, Shamima Sultana, Murshida Khatun Happy, Ayesha Rahman, Nigar Sultana Joyti, Sanjada Islam, Kadiza-tul-Kubra, Panna Ghosh, Farjana Haque Pinki, Nahida Akhter, Fahima Khatun, Ritu Moni and Sobhana Mostary.
Five standby players are: Shaila Sharmin, Suraiya Azmin, Lata Mondal, Puja Chakraborty and Rabeya.
A formal photo session of the Bangladesh Women’s Squad with the BCB President has been arranged at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Thursday at 3pm.
