The Afghanistan team will return on July 1 for the ODI series, consisting of three matches. The series will begin on July 5, and the other two matches will be held on July 8 and July 11 at Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. All the matches will start at 2 pm Bangladesh time. Bangladesh and Afghanistan have played a total of 11 ODI matches against each other. Out of these 11 matches, Bangladesh has won 7 of them, which means they have won about 64% of the matches. The second match saw Afghanistan turn the tables, winning by 2 wickets. Bangladesh scored 208 runs, but Afghanistan chased it down, scoring 212 runs with just 2 wickets remaining.
