The President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), Nazmul Hasan, has announced that the board is planning to launch its own TV channel to broadcast cricket matches.
Following a board meeting on Monday, President Nazmul addressed the media and revealed the board's decision.

"We have decided to apply for a TV channel," stated Nazmul on Monday evening. "Our channel will not only broadcast international matches but also local matches."
Recently, Bangladesh embarked on a three-match ODI series against Ireland during their tour of England. However, these matches were not televised in Bangladesh, causing inconvenience.

Similarly, BCB encountered difficulties in broadcasting the last Bangladesh tour of the West Indies.
"We have faced challenges in finding interested channels for our matches," added the BCB president. "This has occurred twice, and we cannot afford to encounter the same issue again. Hence, we have resolved to establish our own TV channel."
