BCB North Zone faces an uphill task to defeat BCB South Zone at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram as they need to score 432 runs during the final day with 10 wickets in hand.

South Zone began the day on their overnight total of 44 for one in 22 overs and declared their second innings at 398 for three in 102 overs. Shahriar Nafees (111), Shamsur Rahman (109) and Mahmudullah Riyad (100*) struck centuries for South Zone.

Ariful Haque bagged two wickets conceding 51 runs in 11 overs while Taskin Ahmed took one wicket in South Zone’s second innings.

In reply, North Zone ended the day three for 22 in six overs. Mizanur Rahman and Rony Talukdar remained unbeaten for 15 and 7 respectively.
