Dhaka, Jan 20 (UNB) – A stoppage-time goal by Nigerian booter Nkwocha Kingsley enabled Dhaka Mohammedan SC to get off to a good start in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football beating Team BJMC by 2-1 goals at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Sunday.
Captain Kingsley, who put the traditional black and white team, Mohammedan, ahead in the 34th minute, scored the match winner in the 3rd minute of the stoppage time (93rd minute to the relief of their fans.
Earlier, Uzbek midfielder Otabek levelled the margin for Team BJMC in the 4th minute of the stoppage time of the first half (45+4 minute).
In the day’s first match, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra managed a 1-0 goal victory over Arambagh KS at the Rafiquddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.
Uzbek footballer Azizov Alisher scored the decider for Sheikh Russel KC in the vey 3rd minute of the match.
