Dhaka, Aug 26 (UNB) - Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football, the country’s most prestigious and professional league, will begin in January next year.
The decision was taken at BFF Professional Football League Committee meeting chaired by its chairman and BFF Senior Vice-president Abdus Salam Murshedy MP at the BFF house in Motijheel on Monday.
The BPL player transfer formalities will be held from October 1 to November 20.
The committee also decided to arrange season curtain raiser soccer meet, the Federation Cup Football in December next while the Independence Cup Football will be arranged next year.
Besides, BFF-Fortis football academy under-18 team will participate in the Federation Cup, BPL, Independence Cup and also in the Under-18 football tournament.
