Dhaka, Aug 26 (UNB) - The first match of the two-match four-day unofficial Test series between Emerging High-Performance (HP) teams of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, begins on Tuesday at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.
The match will kick-off at 9:30 am (BdST).
Earlier, touring Sri Lanka Emerging Cricket team clinched the three-match unofficial ODI series 2-1 beating hosts Bangladesh Emerging team by seven wickets under D/L method in the 3rd and last match at the same venue in Khulna last Saturday.
Islanders Sri Lanka made a flying start beating Bangladesh by a big margin of 186 runs in the first one-day match at BKSP in Savar on August 18.
But, the host team made a good comeback in the 2nd match beating Sri Lanka by two wickets, also at BKSP ground in Savar on August 21.
The 2nd and final four-day match is scheduled to be held at Sheikh Kamal International Stadium in Cox's Bazar on September 3-6.
