Dhaka, June 18 (UNB) - England won the toss and opted to bat first in their fifth game in the ongoing World Cup on Tuesday at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester.
Before heading towards this match, England played four matches and won three of them. They suffered their only loss against Pakistan by 14 runs.
Afghanistan, on the other hand, lost all the four matches they have played in the World Cup so far, and they are now at the bottom of the points table.
