Advocate Saifuzzaman Shikhor MP, Youth and Sports Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Harun-ur-Rashid were also present in the final as special guests.
Champions Gono Bishwabidyalay received Tk 3 lakh as prize money while runners-up Southeast University got Tk 2 lakh.
Besides, Russel Munshi (Gono Bishwabidyalay) was adjudged the best player of the Tournament, Bibek Mondal (Gono Bishwabidyalay) named as the man of the final, Shamim Hossain (Gono Bishwabidyalay) was adjudged the best goalkeeper and Mong Marma (Fareast University) named as highest scorer of the tournament
Runners-up Fareast International University was adjudged the most disciplined team of the tournament to receive fair play award.
Earlier, Southeast University reached the final crushing Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) by 4-1 goals in the first semi-final while Gono Bishwabidyalay reached the final eliminating International University of Business, Agriculture & Technology (IUBAT) by 3-0 goals in the 2nd semifinal.
