Dhaka, Sept 24 (UNB) – Col SM Zahid Hasan of Ghatail Golf Club emeregd men’s champion and Fatema Motiur of Kurmitola Golf Club became women’s champion in the 10-team 3rd Federation Cup Golf Tourament that concluded on Monday at the Kurmitola Golf Course here.
Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Golf Federation Major General M Enayetullah was the chief guest at the day’s closing function and later he distributed the prizes.
Brigadier General GM Kmarul Islam (retd) finished runner-up in the men’s group while Nila Aziz became runner-up in the women’s group.
In the team event, Kurmitola Golf Club and Army Golf Club emeregd joint champions while Ghatail Gold Club finished runners-up.
Rafid Tahmid Islam of Army Golf Club clinched the junior title of the meet while Jaima Binte Ohana finished runner-up.
