Bangladesh chose to bat first in the second One-Day International against Afghanistan on Friday in order to set up a big total. Bangladesh finally finished on 306/4 in their allocated 50 overs. Liton Das scored his fifth ODI century in the match and his first against Afghanistan. Liton struck 136 from 126 balls Before losing his wicket in the 47th over. On the other hand, Mushfiqur Rahim scored 86 runs with the bat.

Bangladesh had had no big problems when it came to defending the huge total. Afghanistan were bowled out for 218 runs in 45.1 overs.
