Aiming to fly to Pakistan, Mahmudullah underwent a routine test and he was found positive. Since he is not showing any symptoms, he decided to test again, but the result remained the same.
Now, Mahmudullah needs to maintain a strict quarantine at home. Along with PSL, the T20 captain of Bangladesh might miss the upcoming T20 league starting later this month.
The T20 league will be kicked off on November 22 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. If Mahmudullah needs at least 14 days to get rid of the virus, he won't be able to take part in the early stage of the event.
It's understood that Mahmudullah won't be available to take part in a fitness test which is slated for November 9.
Multan Sultans had roped in Mahmudullah for the playoffs of PSL. Besides Mahmudullah, Tamim Iqbal also got a chance to participate in PSL.
