Dhaka, Apr 12 (UNB) - Laser Skating Club emerged champions in the both men and women divisions of the 8th National Roller Skating Championship that ended at the Sheikh Russell Roller Skating Complex here on Friday.
In women’s division, Laser Skating Club women’s team defeated Dinajpur Roller Skating Association by 1-0 goals while Laser Skating Club men’s team beat Sundarban Skating Club by 2-0 goals in men’s division.
At least 1,000 skaters from 20 districts across the country took part in the seven-day championship that began on April 6.
Ahmed Asiful Hassan, general secretary of Bangladesh Roller Skating Federation, distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
