There was doubt about the series due to the coronavirus situation. But New Zealand Cricket said in a recent media release that they are working hard to make all of their home series happen next year.
Along with Bangladesh, they are hopeful to host the West Indies, Pakistan and Australia as well.
“It is a scheduled tour and it’s a part of ICC future tour plan (FTP). They are hopeful to host this series on the scheduled time,” Nizamuddin Chowdhury told UNB on Tuesday.
"We are making tremendous progress. I was just on the phone to the West Indies, they're confirmed, Pakistan is confirmed, Australia and Bangladesh also confirmed," New Zealand Cricket chief David White was quoted in New Zealand media.
New Zealand is one of the most successful countries to handle Covid-19 pandemic with great care.
Every team to tour New Zealand will have to maintain a 14-day quarantine period after reaching the country.
