Before coming to this match, South Africa lost respectively to England, Bangladesh and India. They are now on the cliff edge of getting eliminated from the race of semifinals.
If they fail to bounce back in the next game, it will ruin most of their chances to march to the last four of the showpiece event.
West Indies, on the other hand, played three matches so far and won against Pakistan but lost to Australia apart from this match.
South Africa will take on Afghanistan on June 15 at the Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, while West Indies will lock horns with England in their next game at The Rose Bowl, Southampton on June 14.
