The Cricketers’ Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) confirmed it through a media release on Friday afternoon.

After retirement, both are expected to take the new roles at BCB. While Razzak has already started his new job as a member of the national selection panel, Nafees is set to join the board as a cricket operation manager.
In a recent media interaction, Akram Khan, the chairman of cricket operation committee of BCB. told the media that Razzak started his job as a selector and he will be handed official papers within a few days. However, Nafees’ joining is yet to be finalized.
Razzak started his professional career back in 2002 with First-class cricket. He was inducted into international cricket with an ODI in 2004. Nafees, on the other hand, started his career in 2004 with First-class cricket and got his first international cap in 2005.

Razzak represented Tigers in 13 Tests, 153 ODIs and 34 T20Is and bagged 28, 207 and 44 wickets respectively. He was Bangladesh’s first bowler to take 200 or more wickets in ODIs.
Nafees played 24 Tests, 75 ODIs and one T20Is and accumulated 1267, 2201 and 25 runs respectively with four centuries in ODIs. Nafees was Bangladesh’s first captain in T20Is. He has a Test century against Australia.
