The Bangabandhu South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Football Championship rescheduled to be held September 15-25 next year in Dhaka
The decision was taken at a SAFF executive committee meeting held virtually over zoom today (Monday) with SAFF president Kazi Salahuddin in the chair.
South Asia's biggest football festival SAFF Championship was earlier scheduled for September this year in Dhaka, but was forced to be postponed for indefinite period due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Besides, the meeting also approved SAFF status, competition calendar for 2021 and its budget & audit accounts.
As per decision, the SAFF U-19 Women's Championship will be held next year in July 13-22, SAFF U-16 Women's in August 28-27, SAFF U-15 Boys in Oct 1-10 and SAFF U-18 Boys in Oct 15-24, hosts of which are yet to be finalized.
